Family Man
In addition to my passion for the law, I am a dedicated family man to my wife Jessica and our extended family living in Gainesville and Tarpon Springs, Florida.
I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, jogging, walking, and watching all things Star Wars or Marvel related. I love watching the Gators play – football, basketball, and baseball. I love professional basketball and try to go to Orlando Magic games every year. I have a goal to make it to every NBA arena. So far, I have been to Dallas, Milwaukee, Boston, Orlando, and Miami NBA arenas.
I grew up in Tarpon Springs, Florida. My high school mascot was the Fighting Spongers. Notably, we were proudly the only high school in the world with that mascot.
I love teaching trial skills. I have taught at the high school level, undergrad, and at the law school.

I love the beach and water, but a healthy fear of sharks and gators keeps me safely out of the water.
I love good food. I can eat ridiculously hot things and even did the Paqui Hot Chip Challenge this year. I will never do that again.
There is an ongoing debate in my household because my children cannot stand pizza, and I love pizza on the weekends.
