Daniel Glassman & Nick Zissimopulos have over three decades of experience in Gainesville practicing personal injury, criminal defense, and civil law in Gainesville, Florida.
WHO WE ARE
“We believe every client matters. We treat our clients the same way we would want to be treated if we were in the same situation. We put clients first.”
OUR HISTORY:
– 1995, Local Beginnings
After working in a law office during his school years, Dan Glassman started his law career and stayed here in Gainesville. For the last twenty years, Dan Glassman has handled auto accidents, personal injury, wrongful death and negligence cases.
– 2003, The Team is Formed
By the time Nick Zissimopulos started practicing law with Dan Glassman, Nick had been in Gainesville for 8 years completing his undergraduate and law school degrees. For years, Nick and Dan worked closely on civil and criminal defense cases. It was during these years that it became clear that the two men shared a common vision . . . that every client matters and that attorneys should put clients first.
– 2014 , A New Beginning
Glassman & Zissimopulos believe that attorneys should put clients first. To meet that goal, the firm has three simple rules. First, be honest with the client. Second, develop relationships with the clients so that they will feel comfortable being honest with us. And Finally, always remember the client is the boss. We cannot guarantee a result. Any lawyer who guarantees results is lying to you. However, the one thing we can guarantee is we will follow these rules and always work to put you first.

Will I have to pay anything up front for you to handle my car accident case?
No. Glassman & Zissimopulos handles your auto accident and injury cases on a contingency agreement. That means that if we take your case, then you do not have to pay any fees or costs for your accident or injury case unless we get a monetary resolution for you.
-
What type of auto insurance should I have to protect me if I am in an accident?
There are multiple auto insurance options. For our own family members, we typically recommend making sure that auto insurance coverage includes the following: property and personal injury protection (if you have auto insurance, then you have these coverages); liability insurance coverage; uninsured/under insured motorist coverage; comprehensive and collision and med-pay. If you have any questions about your auto insurance, please call us for a no-fee consultation.

What should I do if I am in an accident?
If you are injured, seek medical attention immediately. In most situations, the law requires you to notify law enforcement if there has been an accident. We advised calling law enforcement and making a record of the accident. Make sure to preserve evidence like pictures of crash damage, witness contact information, etc. Florida law requires a person involved in an accident to cooperate with law enforcement who is investigating the crash. Other than those statements, you should seek the advice of an attorney prior to making any statements and specifically should not speak to any insurance companies without knowing your rights. Recent changes in the law concerning personal injury protection benefits may result in the forfeiture of those benefits if you do not seek medical attention within 14 days from the date of your accident and receive documentation of an EMC (emergency medical condition) if it applies to you. If you have any questions, you can reach someone from our staff 24-hours a day at 352-505-4515 or 844-787-2543.
