As the newest team member at Glassman & Zissimopulos, Rae Powers is ready to get to work. Rae was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, and is happy to call the area home. Before joining the team, she worked as a prosecutor dedicated to justice in the Florida legal system.  

About Rae Powers

Rae is honest, direct, and driven in her career. Her time as a prosecutor and working in criminal law gave her a unique perspective for transitioning onto the Glassman & Zissimopulos Law team. She is patient, has a genuine interest in helping people, and ensures that her clients understand the various facets of their case.

Every case is different, and Rae has a unique background and set of skills to help her clients achieve their goals despite any challenges along the way.

Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Languages and Cultures; Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from Florida State University 

Master of Arts in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Tianjin Foreign Studies University 

Doctor of Juris Prudence from the University of Florida College of Law

I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, and I love being a part of this community. I love animals, and my husband and I have three dogs and a cat at home. I enjoy spending time outdoors. Helping people is my passion, and it’s brought me the most joy and fulfillment in my professional life.
